Left comments on all problem sets. Mostly, nice work everyone! Some of the errors were similar. Be careful, the circumcenter is equidistant from the vertices of the triangle. The incenter is equidistant from the sides of the triangle.
Due 11:59 PM tonight!

Calendar has been updated until end of the year. Chapter 5 is going to be a lot of Geogebra work, so be SURE that you have it installed on your computer, or are prepared to use the website version. It is your choice, and as I stated, I prefer the desktop version of just about any application. Keeps things localized on my computer so I have access to it anytime.
You should be proficient in your use as well. We will be constructing angle bisectors inside triangles, circumscribing triangles, etc, so if this sounds like a headache, you should review what we've discussed thus far in chapter 5.
Hope you all enjoyed your break, see you tomorrow!

Some data for you about the class:
The highest grade in the class is a 103.23% - Great job to that student!
The mean grade in the class is a 76.25% - I am pleased with this average. I can see that a lot of you are working hard. If it was boring for you in the beginning, trust me when I say the class is going to get a lot more interesting. It will change the way you look at the world.
The median grade in the class is a 72.1% - With the median being less than the mean, there is more data to the left of the mean than to the right. So, there are more students with grades less than 76.25%. This is a bit frightening. Some of you are close, but others are very far away. You do not want to repeat this class next year, don't waste your time!
The standard deviation is 20%! This is an astounding statistic. I'll explain this tomorrow.
This upcoming problem set is going to be a make or break grade. It can bring your grade up a significant amount. Someone with a 40% can go to a 60% with a perfect score. This is possible if you work on it today, and then resolve my comments tomorrow before you turn it in. You will be that much closer to passing.
I'll also be in my classroom at lunch tomorrow if you need some more help on the problem set. I am here for you if you need me :)

Good morning!
Still quite a few of you who haven’t “turned in” your problem set. Please make sure to do so before 7:45 so that I have some time to print them :)
note: using the equation editor is a requirement. I saw some photos, some editing of the pdf..these are all roundabout ways when google docs offers an equation editor in the software! You’re doing more work. Trust me.
I‘ll be lenient one last time since it’s still a “new thing” to most of you, but unless I can see revision history on your future work, you won’t be getting credit. There’s a method to my madness, I promise :)

Just left a comment on everyone's problem set. Few things:
Some of you have nothing done
If you don't want to use your class time appropriately, I'm willing to allow you to make that decision. This is high school, you are responsible for your education here. One problem with wasting your class time is that you get no comments from me on your document because you have no work for me to comment on. That doesn't sound like a good idea in my opinion.
Formulas look great!
Nice work on the equation editor everyone! I know it seems like a pain now, but I promise it's worth it. One issue I did see was with the distance formula. Everything needs to be inside the square root (or else you'd get a different value). If you stay inside the \sqrt function while you type, it will all remain inside.
Adjacent angles
A few of you had adjacent angles incorrect. I have attached a video explaining what they are.
Other than that, really nice work. A few of you had perfect scores on the problem set. Excellent. I guess I need to consider some sort of incentive for those of you who did so. Remind me tomorrow in case I forget.

Nice work this week everyone! Really appreciate the hard work you have all been putting in, it doesn't go unnoticed.
Monday we will be working on the problem set. Please be sure that you have installed Geogebra on your computers! I posted instructions below for those of you who were having trouble. Everyone needs to have it on Monday so that we can have a smooth class.
I'll be looking over problem sets on Sunday, so if you want me to look over them and leave comments, be sure you have some progress in there. Don't forget to use the equation editor and be sure that your screenshots are legible. I'd really appreciate a quick crop of your screenshots so that it looks neat as well :)
Enjoy your weekend!

I spoke with Connor in IT, and he said the following steps would work. I tried, and they did!
For those of you who couldn't get it to work, you need to let it install twice. After that, it is installed on your computer. Some weird bug. To access it, click on the dots that you see on your toolbar (where your apps are), and you should see Geogebra.
See you tomorrow!
